That's It For Trying To Be Civil

Back to Page Three of JOHNSON FOLLIES CLASSIC, wherein we learn that transporting a dog in a cage plus wild unrestrained mugging equals comedy gold.

ANALYSIS:

We have left the airport (?), and now the brothers must take the family dog, securely locked down like Hannibal Lecter, to the family home. Greg, being a hero, carries cage and dog by himself, but ultimately he fails, as all our heroes do, and spins the cage end over end in a double-triple axel lutz. The dog inside, alas, is electrocuted.

With deep and inexplicable anxiety on his face, Mark shoves a finger Gregward and passes along what "Mom said" and his plan for further transportation of the dog. As for the nervousness, maybe it's because Mark can't stop twirling his johnson? Hence the title JOHNSON FOLLIES!

Now, with his two brothers helping, Greg should manage to carry the feral beast with ease. Yet all three struggle mightily and comically, as if the brothers are actually less than the sum of their parts!

At least Snoopy, after vowing not to be civil anymore, just lies there and takes it with a sigh. Wouldn't the world be a better place if we all behaved likewise? HM?

Play us out, Donny!

The road is long
With many a dog in a crate
That leads us to who knows where
Who knows where from
(The airport?)
But I'm not all that strong

Not really strong enough to carry the dog
He makes things heavier, he's my brother

So on we go
His dog-carrying skills are of my concern

A burden is that dog to bear
We'll get there
For I know

He would  encumber me
He makes things heavier, he's my brother.....
